Elly

Born June 12, 2019
Elly came to us from a local breeder. We were told that when we bought her she was a full-stock Aussie, but as a breeder, I caught on to several characteristics that I knew weren’t Aussie standards. I did her genetic testing and she was not full stock – she had a great amount of Pyrenees in her DNA report along with many other breeds as well. I was not gonna keep Elly for breeding, but I soon learned how many people wanted a pup from her because she had the Aussie look and size, but not their hyperactivity. She had more of a laid-back personality. I considered breeding her just once but we began to get so many Elly fans out there, more and more people beg for her puppies!
We’ve done her genetic reports and she doesn’t have any underlining health problems to worry about with breeding her so we only breed her one time a year. We won’t breed Elly many times, just on occasions here and there when we have a list of people looking for her pups.
Elly is a super sweet, laid-back girl and is an awesome mother to her puppies. She is the perfect family dog. She has the characteristics of a Golden Retriever almost! Just full of love and snuggles. She doesn’t have that high energy like a typical Aussie, just a very relaxed, big ol’ bear-like girl. So many people love her babies! It’s amazing that we have her here at Hart of Aussies. – Missy, Hart of Aussies Owner & Trainer
